With the spirit of success, empowerment and social commitment, we are going to organize “2nd Educational Grassroots Video Festival” at November- December 2006. It is planned to organize the festival in seven districts in Bangladesh.
As like as the year 2005 the festival will screen educational documentaries and docu-movies on human rights, development, youth leadership as like as educational issues covering the following subjects –
- Global culture, ICT and global information system
- Youth participation, leadership, relationship
- AIDS/ HIV, health issues
- Child rights, child labor, children of the world
- Millennium development goals, fighting against poverty
- Conflict resolutions, social unity, violence
- Environment, biodiversity tsunami, earthquake, natural systems
The documentary which does not portrays any harmful visual and information will be welcomed to show the youth and children audience. The main objective of the festival is to make environment for responsible grassroots and youth leadership development. In the digital divide and information contrast, showing global and latest life information through video presentation which is not mentioned in curriculum is our mission. In the high price and limited access of information tools for grassroots making a steps for balance also our vision.
However, we are looking partner and contributors for this initiative.

Please send a copy of your/ your organizations documentary as DVD/VCD/ Multimedia CDROM/ VHS ( PAL ) format.
